Geographic Coverage
Invertebrate animals from global localities, with an emphasis in the eastern Pacific and Indopacific. (Animalia less vertebrates, insects, arachnids, and myriapods). The collection holds an estimated 15,000,000 specimens in 750,000 lots. Approximately half of the collection is stored in fluid preservative, the other half is dry preserved.
